It's something I'd considered for a while, about how when someone kills someone (usually a police officer) and either gets off scott free or gets a punishment small enough that people feel it barely qualifies as being a punishment, how their response is to riot, stealing, destroying things, etc.

And it makes me wonder: since when did someone decide that the proper response to an injustice is to cause even more trouble?

I mean, think about that.  You're responding to a murder by spreading pain and misery to others, people who are still living, people who will have to deal with the mess you leave behind, and sometimes people are hurt, even killed in these riots as well.  When your response threatens to do more damage than the actual injustice you're responding to, you're no longer justified; you're a mindless, destructive psychopath looking for an excuse to break something, or occasionally, someone.

Seriously.  People need to use common sense and realize that when you riot like this, you're not hurting the people you think did wrong; you're hurting people who are, as far as you're concerned, innocent.

Not saying its a good thing but have you ever been so angry it felt like you could explode? And of course we feel like that sometimes but Im taking real anger to the point where you wouldnt care what you would do. Im guessing large groups of people get like this over the injustices and have a hissy fit. Personally I believe it solves nothing, just shows that a lot of people are displeased with an unsatisfactory sententance that a cop killing someone would get compaired to a regular person. I dont really get how it works either but it happends. And Im sure there wont be any shortages of riots in the future due to injustice.
